Joseph Michael Mascari Jr.

3/1/1962-2/20/2024

Joe passed away in his Oro Valley Home after a valiant 4-year battle with cancer.

Joe graduated from Santa Rita High School in 1980.

Joe worked at various restaurants in Tucson. However his favorite was as a sommelier at Anthony's In The Catalinas, until it closed. His wine cellar was often listed in The Wine Spectator as on of the top 100 in the world.

Then he worked in California for 2 years. Upon his return he was a driver for a limousine company and then worked for himself. Where he met some very interesting people and sometimes famous people.

Joe enjoyed all U of A Wildcat sports, Fantasy Football and Poker.

He is survived by his mother Nancey Mascari-Whitaker, sister Margaret Dibble (Mark), nephew Jeremiah Dibble (Lynnsey), aunt Susan Coulson-Condon and many wonderful and loving cousins and friends.

The family wants to give a special thanks to Mr. Anthony Martino, Mr, Shih Kiang (Mr. Fred) and Dr. David Drabs and the Banner Cancer Center.
