Obituary of Kathleen Veronica Kutscher

Dear treasured family and friends,

You’ve likely heard that I’ve joined Walt, as he would say, “somewhere in the great beyond”. I’m not sure where he thought he was going but when you think of me, know that I’m in a better place. These past months have been challenging and I am now at peace.

What a life I’ve had though! Most of all, I just loved all of my cherished relationships: my dear siblings, Mary Ann, Joe, Jim and John; Walter (most of the time); our big extended family; so many wonderful neighbors and all my dear friends. I was always interested in hearing about everyone’s trials and tribulations and good happenings – I cared about it all because I cared about ‘them’ all. And I found it so exciting to get ready for all the fun parties we had. Even though I was pretty handy with my knitting needles and sewing machine, I think cooking for friends and family gave me the greatest joy along with sharing our beloved Tucson with all our special visitors.

Oh, and I can’t forget about my travels with Walt and especially our winters in Puerta Vallarta and the delightful times we spent meeting new and wonderful life-long friends there – what an adventure! And finally, our dear Fifi made me happy every day.

So thank you all for the laughs, your warmth and your love – you made my life a sheer joy
