Angel Jose Lopez Jr, Tucson AZ- Born on June 1st, 1964 passed on October 12th, 2023 at the young age of 59 due to cancer. Angel was born in Fresno, CA. He grew up with his brothers and sisters Steve, Scott, Stephanie, and Kathliene.

Angel married at 24 to the love of his life Lisa Tejaras Lopez. They both met in Reno, NV, and later moved to Tucson, AZ. They were married for 32 years and together for 34 years. In that time they raised two beautiful children, Luis Lopez born in 1995 and Trina Lopez born in 2001. Angel is survived by his wife, children, Mother Jennie Lee Fry Christensen, brothers, and sisters. Angel was preceded in death by his Father Angel Jose Lopez Sr.

Angel loved his job as a specialty procedure technician in the cath lab at Tucson Medical Center. He trained many of his fellow coworkers and loved his TMC family.

Many people referred to Angel as everyone’s angel on earth now he’s our angel in heaven. Angel has the biggest heart, he would open his arms to anyone who needed it. He is and always will be the most courageous, kind, loving, caring, funny, goofy, protective, smart, and driven man many of us knew and loved. Angel would light up any room he walked into and always made sure everyone had a smile on their face. There are no words to describe how amazing of a man Angel is and he will be deeply missed.

There will be a Celebration of Life held at 10600 E Sundance Cir on Sunday, November 12th at 2 PM
