Obituary of Margaret Ann Pike

Margaret was born on September 6, 1954 in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. Her mother was Theresa Barry Seward and her father was Wilby Starks. She went to be with her savior on September 10, 2023 at Northwest Hospital, Tucson, Arizona. Margaret graduated from Nursing School at Eastern Oklahoma State College in the early 1980’s and became a Registered Nurse. She had a highly successful near 30 year career as an RN in the federal Indian Health Service hospitals and clinics and several civilian hospitals. On October 25th, 1986 Margaret married the love of her life Mark E. Pike in Garland, Texas. Margaret was previously married and had a son August 1975 who is named Terrill K. (TK) Francis. Mark and Margaret gave TK a little sister in August 1987 named Breanna J. Pike. Margaret loved to travel, and had been to Mexico, Canada, Italy, and France. She was usually with Bre, and her best friend Julie Randall. Margaret was very social and always enjoyed a good night out.

Margaret is survived by her husband Mark of the home in Tucson, Arizona, TK and wife Ann Francis of Edmond, Oklahoma and Breanna Arviso and husband Petier of Oro Valley, Arizona. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Colton and Cheyanne of Oro Valley, Arizona, and several other grandchildren. She is also survived by the Starks part of her family in Oklahoma (Johnny a brother, and Genie and Brenda her sisters). Margaret was preceded in death by her mother Theresa Barry Seward, her father Wilby Starks, a sister named Etta Seward, and a brother by the Starks part of her family. Margaret also leaves behind many cousins and friends.

There are no pallbearers due to the way the Veterans Cemetery conducts burials. Also, there is no gravesite activities at the time of burial.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 from 8:00AM-9:00AM at Adair Funeral Homes-Avalon Chapel, 8090 N. Northern Avenue, Oro Valley AZ 85704 with a Funeral Service beginning at 9:00AM at the funeral home.
