Dale M. Chavez Obituary

Dale M. Chavez was born at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Phoenix, AZ on January 7, 1958. He left us on May 30, 2023. Dale graduated from Sabino High School and the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University. His parents are Rex and Angie Chavez. His two sisters are Karen Roach and Deanna Carrera, and his brother-in-law is David Carrera. Dale’s nieces are Milena and Eliana Carrera, and his nephew is Clayton Roach. They loved their uncle, and he loved them.

Dale followed all ASU sports, was an avid NASCAR fan and loved music, especially the blues. He worked for many years with Hallmark and Jacent Strategic Marketing as a merchandiser. Dale struggled with many health issues at the end, but he is with God now.

Services will be held on July 8, 2023, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, located at 1800 N Camino Pío Décimo, Tucson, AZ 85715. The Rosary begins at 9:30 am, followed by a funeral Mass at 10:00 am.
