Obituary of Shirley Jane Korff

With heavy hearts and great sorrow the Korff & Norman family announce the unexpected passing of Shirley J Korff on Friday, March 3, 2023. Shirley was a loving, devoted, compassionate, brave, gracious wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was born in McMinnville Oregon on October 15, 1951. She helped raise four siblings while attending school and working. She met her high school sweetheart, William Korff, and they married July 2, 1971 in Tucson Arizona. Shirley had two daughters, Danielle and Sara, she excelled at motherhood and was always giving her time to support them. She and William are proud patriots and enjoyed the years William was in the Air Force, and no matter where they went, she always made friends. Shirley has two grandchildren, Brittney and Joshua, who absolutely filled her heart with joy, and she love to spoil them. Shirley overcame many challenges including beating breast cancer twice, all the while she never stopped giving the best hugs. She was an avid bowler and could be found bowling with friends several days a week. Shirley most of all loved her family and friends.
