Obituary of Alfred Ortiz Castro

Alfred Castro better known as Freddy passed away on December 12, 2021 at the age of 69. He is preceded in death by his father Albert, his mother Genevieve, and sisters Gloria, Delia, and Norma. He is survived by his children Irene (Aaron), Levi, and Rauly. His grandchildren Taylor, Rylee, Hunter, Mia, and Rauly Jr. also by his brothers Albert, Bobby, and sisters Frances, Alice, Virginia, and many nieces and nephews. Freddy was born in Tucson on July 14, 1952. He served in the Marine Corp. He worked many years as a miner, and then in construction. He was an amazing father and grandfather. He adored his grandchildren and was at every sporting event any of them had. He loved music, dancing, and dressing his best always. He was a die hard Washington Redskin fan, and Atlanta Braves fan. He was so excited to watch his Braves win the 2021 World Series. Freddy never met a stranger and was loved by everyone who knew him. He always had jokes and was the life of every party he attended. To say he will be greatly missed is an understatement.
