Obituary of Bonnie Jeanne Benzenhoefer

On October 30, 2021, Bonnie Jeanne Benzenhoefer (Bambace) passed away into the arms of our Father in Heaven after losing her battle with COVID-19 at the age of 71. Born on September 30, 1950, she was raised in Garden City, NY. In 1970, after completing a year of college in Upstate New York, she moved to Tempe, Arizona, where she met her future husband, Clyde J. Benzenhoefer. They married on October 27, 1973, and had two children, Stephanie and Erin. They later welcomed four wonderful grandchildren, Emily, John, Ashley, and Audrey. Bonnie was preceded in death by her two brothers, Lawrence and Richard. She has two surviving sisters, Barbara Reicherter and Donna Hall.

Bonnie dedicated her life to serving Jesus and loving everybody the way He does. She loved to sing and worship the Lord and was a member of the Jubilee Choir at Casas Church upon her passing. She considered it both an honor and a privilege to help hurting people in need. In 2009 she became a lay counselor in "Biblical Counseling" from Light University. It was an achievement that she cherished, and her entire family was immensely proud of her.

A Celebration of Life will be held to honor her on Monday, November 29, 2021, at 1:00 PM. Please join us at Casas Church located at 10801 N. La Cholla Blvd., Oro Valley, AZ, 85742 in the main sanctuary. An onsite reception will immediately follow the service.
