Obituary of Alice Mae Preston

Alice Mae Preston, 87, passed away in Tucson, Arizona on November 6, 2020.  Alice was born on January 12, 1933 in Chicago, IL. A 60 year resident of Tucson, she is survived by her husband, Eugene Charles Preston; her daughter, Patty (Darr) Healy; her son, Frank (Marilyn) Skvarek; granddaughter, Melissa (Ryan) Young, grandsons Jon Silva and Ryan Silva-Skvarek; great grandchildren, Peyton Silva-Skvarek, Kinsley, Madelyn, and Wesley Young. Alice was preceded in death by her parents, Dave and Jennie Ruppel; sisters, Anita Green, Phyllis Calavan; daughters Vicki and Maria Skvarek; sons Johnny and Anthony Skvarek; and grandson, Christopher Pearce Healy.  Alice moved to Tucson in 1960, where she raised her family.  She worked in the areas of realty and banking.  She and her husband, Gene ran their business, The Award Store.  Alice loved the Lord, family, and life. She loved people and was a dear friend to many.  Her life was a BLESSING, her memory a TREASURE, she is LOVED beyond words and missed beyond MEASURE.  We deeply love and miss you, mom!
