Obituary of Raul L. Romero

Apa; Raul L Romero went home peacefully to be with the Lord at age 85. He was born March 21,1935 in Santa Ana, Sonora, MX.

Apa was first of his family to cross the border, after extreme struggles immigrated to the USA, later in life a US Citizen. Although, with limited education, he accomplished his dreams and desires in life; he was very intelligent and a very resourceful man.

He worked as a supervisor on agriculture fields in Welton, Roll, Tacna and Yuma, AZ. Settled in Tucson in 1969 where he and Ama raised their family. He worked in construction and assisted with supervision.

His family always came first, as a caring and loving man who took extra measures to meet all of his family’s needs. He was a man of strong solidarity who taught us all along with our mom, our self-worth; always reminded everyone; get the job done right!

Apa loved the outdoors’ his favorite outings was with family, shooting and hunting. His favorite pass-times were baseball and boxing. He loved all types of animals; at one point he owned 10 acres where farm animals were raised.

He is survived by 7 children, 31 grandchildren and 45 great grandchildren. We miss you Apa!!!
