Obituary of Theresa Ann Heaton

Theresa Ann Heaton (White) Theresa Ann was born on June 25, 1945 in South Bend, Indiana, the second oldest child of ten. She joined her Lord and Savior on January 13, 2016. Theresa was preceded by her Mother Catherine (Minder) White and her father Roy White as well as her sister, Barbara (White) Santana and her brother Donald White. She is survived by her beautiful family including her five children: Rosa (Aldarondo) Szynski, George Aldarondo Jr., Marcos Aldarondo, Meredith (Aldarondo) Jimenez, and David Aldarondo along with her fourteen grand-children, and one great grandchild. Theresa moved to Tucson, Arizona where she devoted her life to take care of those in need. As a caregiver, Theresa spent the last part of her life in service to Alzheimer's patients and their families. Though this was her work, she went above and beyond the job to truly comfort her clients, serving as an advocate for them, often becoming part of their family. Her children will always be so proud of her dedication, integrity, and honesty, making a real difference in the lives of those she served. Theresa loved to crochet and made each of her children and their spouses as well as each grandchild special gifts over the years. She would always say that each afghan she made for them was her way of sending them love across the miles and each time they wrapped themselves in it, they were receiving her hugs. She also made these special handmade, heart-centered gifts for so many others including her sisters, clients, extended family, and others who admired her work, so intricate and carefully crafted. For so many reasons, Theresa is missed by those who remain. Her quiet presence and her selflessness are among her greatest gifts to those she loved. It is, however, her faith, which she shared with her children, that lives on within us and helps us to know and believe she is at peace. In her final days, all five of her children were present and conducted a living Memorial to celebrate Theresa and her life with her favorite hymns, songs, and prayer. Theresa was a dedicated caregiver, often spending final hours with her clients in hospice. If you would like to honor Theresa, please consider making a donation in her name to Casa de la Luz Hospice at 7740 N Oracle Rd, Tucson, AZ 85704, Phone: 520-544-9890. The family thanks you for your thoughts and prayers. "Well Done, Good and Faithful Servant."
