Obituary of George Lee Wilson

George Lee Wilson 67, born May 18, 1948 in Shreveport, LA to Harold and Margaret Wilson and passed away peacefully in Tucson, AZ on December 24, 2015. He is preceded in death by his two brothers, Jack and Thomas. He is survived by his two children, Tyler and Daniel; nephew, Conor; siblings, Mary Ann and James and wife, Cynthia. George is a veteran of the United States Air Force from 1967 to 1971 where he was an Air Craft Mechanic. Following USAF George had a 41 year career as a Conductor for Southern/Union Pacific Railroad. He enjoyed working in his garden, working on his red BMW, spending time in San Diego, reading history books, photography, and watching UofA athletics. God has George in his keeping; we have him in our hearts. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Cottage supporting Immaculate Heart Sisters. 420 E. Magee, Oro Valley, AZ 85704. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 8, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel, 8090 North Northern Ave., Oro Valley, AZ 86704.
