Obituary of Ronald Earl Upham

Ronald Earl Upham Born April 15, 1941 passed away on December 8, 2015. He was preceded in death by his son, Ronnie Jr. and his parents, Earl and Fern Upham. He was survived by his siblings, Gary and Frances; his children, David, Christy and Anita as well as his grandchildren, Christopher, Calypso, Adam, Colton and Ruby. Ron was many things including a Navy veteran, a parishioner at Catalina Methodist Church, a business owner and a member of the Arizona Drag racing Hall of Fame. Ron loved racing, he was a race car owner, an engine builder, and supported all types of racing. He spent much of his younger life going to the all kinds of car races all over the southwest. Ron was the owner of an engine shop here in Tucson, and then the owner of Ron's Racing Products and Rons Fuel Injection Systems. He has touched many people through his businesses and racing, and will be greatly missed by many. We must remember, Ron says: "Every day is a bonus". Services will be on Saturday, December 19, 2015. Viewing will be form 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, 1050 N. Dodge Blvd. Interment directly after at Southlawn Cemetery, 5401 S. Park Ave.
