Obituary of Gaylen Marshall Humphries

Gaylen Marshall Humphries After a short fight with cancer, Gaylen Marshall Humphries died November 28, 2015 peacefully at his daughter's home in Tucson, AZ at the age of 69. Gaylen was born on June 24, 1946 in Aberdeen, SD to Ruth (Burroughs) and Everett Humphries who predeceased him. He proudly served in The United States Airforce from 1968 to 1971, part of which was spent in Vietnam. He spent the rest of his life as a Chef and in Restaurant Management. Gaylen is survived by his daughter, Megan (Dareck) and granddaughter, Taylor; his brothers, Arlen (Ruth) and Ronald "Rusty" Humphries; his nephews, Blaine (Aniela) and Corey (Cristy) Humphries; his nieces, Natalie Murray (Eric Crocker), Denise (Shane) Jackson and Michele Humphries. Gaylen's dry and sarcastic humor will never be forgotten and was with him to the end. The love and support he gave to his family and friends will forever be in their hearts. Gaylen's Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at ADAIR FUNERAL HOME Avalon Chapel. 8090 N Northern Ave, Tucson, AZ 85704.
