Obituary of Mary Rita Mclain

MCLAIN, Mary Rita, was called by God on Sunday, April 19, 2015. Her most precious accomplishment was being a mother to her two children, Erin and Rick. She loved her family, her Irish heritage and her Catholic Faith. She was a frequent Communicant, a Eucharistic Minister and a volunteer at her Church. For several years she welcomed newborns into her home awaiting permanent adoption through Catholic Social Services. Her love of children extended to volunteering at UMC where she was a Baby Cuddlier in the Neonatal Unit. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Dr. Erin McLain. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, James; her son, Rick, his wife, Brandy and their two children. Visitation at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, Wednesday, April 22, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at St. Francis de Sales Church.
