Lino De Concini born January 8, 1921 was called home to be with our Savior in Heaven on February 24, 2015 at the age of 94. Lino was born in Casez, Italy and came to America when he was 17. Once he arrived in Tucson he lived the rest of his life there. He served in WW II with the Army Air Corps in the Philippines under General MacArthur. After the war he went to school under the G.I. Bill and attained his BA from the University of California at the Art Center School in L.A. He married the love of his life Sheila M. Robertson and they were blessed with a loving marriage and friendship for 63 years. They had seven children of which four of them preceded him in death. Jeanine De Concini Chesonis, John De Concini, Tina De Concini and Gregory De Concini. Lino worked with his brother Ettore doing construction for De Concini builders until he started his own Business named Best Construction. He worked for himself for many years until he went to work as the Building manager for the Arizona State Building here in Tucson. He worked for the State of Arizona until age 70 when he retired. He has been a faithful member of St. Ambrose Church for the last 60 years. Lino was a true gift from God. He is what God meant a man, husband, father and friend to be. He never had a bad word to say about anyone nor did he ever harbor bad feelings..He always said "kill them with kindness, let it go in one ear and out the other, one day at a time, and God sees and God provides". He always offered up all his worries to the Lord in his prayers. His faith in the Lord was unshakable and enduring throughout his entire life. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends here and in Italy. He leaves behind his beautiful wife Sheila, sons Thomas, Mark, and daughter Jeanette. Also daughter in-laws Susan (Mark) and Fabiola (John) and son in-law Gary Chesonis (Jeanine) and seven grandchildren Matthew, Paul, Logan, Michael, Gina, Helen and Melanie.
