Obituary of Bertha S. Holliday

Bertha S. Holliday was born Sept. 30, 1927 in Nedrow, NY. and passed away peacefully at Casa de la Luz Hospice on October 28, 2014. Bea and her husband George R. Holliday of 57 years moved their family from North Tonawanda, NY to Tucson in 1968. Bea was a multi-talented woman who loved sewing, arts and crafts and going to yard sales. She was a deeply faithful woman and a good friend to many. Bea is survived by her son Bob Holliday (Cheryl) of Tucson and her daughter Tammy Harwood (Eric) of Scottsdale, as well as her grandchildren Jessica Blessett (Alex) and Jennifer Holliday, Brandon and Melissa Holliday. A Celebration of life will be November 7th at 11:00 a.m. at St. James United Methodist Church located at 3255 N. Campbell Ave. Tucson, AZ. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name would be welcomed to the Metro Center at St. James which is a restorative justice ministry working with juveniles and young adults.
