Obituary of Jacqueline Patyk

Jacqueline (Jackie) Patyk was born in Chicago, IL on July 7th, 1939 to Bill and Mary Melone. In 1957, her family moved to Tucson. She married her husband Jack the following year. They had three children, Michael (Deborah), Marianne, and Christopher (Tracy). Jackie had a great sense of wit that she carried with her all her life, a love of culture, family, cuisine, and laughter. After owning a business with her husband for 35 years, she and Jack retired in 2001. In later life, Jack and Jackie took great joy in their granddaughter Anastasia. Jackie passed away due to surgical complications on October 23rd, 2014. She was predeceased by parents and sister, Annette. She is survived by her husband, children, granddaughter, and brother, Frank (Gail). There will be a visitation at Adair Funeral Home, Avalon Chapel, 8090 Northern Ave., from 6 pm to 8 pm on Wednesday, October 29th, with rosary at 7 pm officiated by Deacon Paul Duckro . A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 30th, at 10:30 am in St. Odilia's Catholic Church, 7570 N. Paseo del Norte with Msgr. Thomas Millane and Deacon Keating Ackerley celebrating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to Catholic Tuition Support Organization, Diocese of Tucson.
