Obituary of Jay Walla Tate

TATE, Jay Walla, 80, died peacefully early Friday afternoon, October 24, 2014. He was preceded in death by his wife and soulmate Kathryn Wilcox Tate. He leaves no familial survivors, but a far-reaching community of friends and others whose lives he graced with his generosity, kindness and love. He quietly served others in need, whether known or unknown to him. He was an avid athlete, a voracious reader and a man of strong opinions. Per his wish, there will be no memorial service.
