Obituary of Loise Elaine Nygaard

Lois Elaine (Arkenstine) Nygaard age 85 of Tucson, AZ, formerly of MN, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2014. Lois was multi-talented, sewing, knitting and creating stained glass and ceramics. She was active in the community, participating in PEO and the Minneapolis Women's Club and served as township clerk for Inguadona Township. In 2002, she was inducted as an honorary member of the SaddleBrooke Rotary Club and became the first Harlan Nygaard Rotary Fellow. Preceded in death by her husband, Harlan and parents, Viola and Clarence Arkenstine. She is survived by daughters, Mary (Steven), Sharon (Glen), Carol (Michael) and granddaughter, Megan and sister, Carol (Clint). The family is planning a private Memorial Service.
