Obituary of Dudley Tyler Lewis

Dudley Tyler Lewis "Lou" passed on June 22, 2014. Ninety-eight years young, he had served in World War II as a "Seabee". He was stationed at Honolulu Harbor and Nagasaki (Japan). Lou worked as a salesman (paint, lumber and encyclopedias) and also as a tax accountant. At eighty -four he began painting in oils and participated in several shows. He is survived by his wife Merry, his sons Steven and Daniel, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. His trip on an interfaith mission to Israel was so special to him that he asked that donations be made in his memory to "Trees for Israel" c/o the Tucson Jewish Federation 3822 East River Rd. Tucson, Az. 85718.At Lou's request there will be no services. A private burial will be held in Lee, Massachusetts at a later date.
