Obituary of Patricia Blythe Smith

Patricia (Pat) Smith 89, passed on October 16, 2022. She was born in McKeesport, Pennsylvania on December 19, 1932.

She loved attending international nursing conferences and traveling the world with her devoted husband of 67 years, Gerry Smith. Pat was a dedicated nurse for more than 60 years and was passionate about her career as director of surgical services where she was loved and respected by her friends, coworkers, and employees. She was the professional example all wanted to follow and personally mentored countless employees.

A devoted wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother she is survived by her husband and her children Peggy (Kim), Paul (Beth), Sue (Don), Linda (Mark), and her many adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dearly loved by many, there are no words to describe our sorrow and how much she will be missed. A Celebration of Life will be held on December 3, 2022, 1:00-4:00 P.M. at Fellowship Square, Villa II.
