Obituary of Mary Kay Wright

Mary Kay Wright went to be with the Lord September 16th, 2022. Mary was born in Appleton, WI on Sept 15, 1942 to Everett and Catherine Sell.
 

As an only child, she enjoyed boating and swimming at the family lake house. Inspired by her parents love of dance, she became an accomplished dancer at a young age and was invited to join the Appleton Ballet. Mary loved the arts which lead her to cosmetology school.
 

Mary Kay’s hobbies included gardening, swimming, the arts, crafts, and dancing. She also loved knitting blankets for her grandchildren. She enjoyed going to art shows and loved her pets dearly.

Mary and her beloved husband Walter moved to Tucson, AZ in 2006, where she enjoyed the sun, retirement, and time with family.

Mary is survived by her husband Walter P. Wright, her son Dan Dunphy, daughters Catherine Leija and Jennifer Suhm, granddaughters, Athena Jones and Isobel Suhm, and great grandsons Travis and Gunner Jones.

Mary Kay was predeceased by parents, Everett and Catherine Sell, and a precious daughter Julie Ann who went to heaven as an infant.

Mary’s Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday September 22^nd, 2022, at 11:00 am, Adair Funeral Home. 8090 N. Northern Avenue, Tucson AZ 85704
