Obituary of Gary Kenneth Johnson

Gary Kenneth Johnson 

aka “GD Johnson”

aka “Gus Danger”

Gary Kenneth Johnson, 69, passed away in his home on July 23, 2022. 

He was born in Huron South Dakota, in 1952.

He is preceded in death by his son, Gary Shawn Johnson, and his parents Kenneth and Donna Johnson.  

He is survived by his daughter Kelly (Steven), his three Grandson's Chris (Celia), Josh (Cienna), Luke and his Great Grandson, Ares Shawn Johnson.

He is also survived by his loving siblings; Darnelle (Dick), Kathleen (Walt), Mike, and Karen (John) and many nieces and nephews that he loved so much.

Gary was a very sweet man, without a mean bone in his body.  He loved music, Cherie Currie's fan pages, and his family.

He was a trekke, through and through.  Loved Saturday Night Live, Andy Griffith, Bob Newhart, and many others.

He loved to take pictures of loved ones and kept many photo albums that we all enjoyed looking through when we went to visit him.  So many great memories captured.

What a reunion Heaven had that day.  I'm sure Shawn, Jaime and his parents walked him through Heaven's gates hand in hand.

"When I see you again, I am going to hug you so tight, and I will never let you go again"

If you would like to join us for his memorial service, it will be held on August 31, 2022 10:00 - 11:00AM at Adair Funeral Home (1050 N. Dodge Blvd, Tucson AZ  85716).  Reception will follow at the residence of Kelly Priestley.
