John Holden Bort

91, was born in Beloit, WI February 11, 1930, raised in Beloit, married Florence Ruth “Marty” Martell June 17, 1951 and was a Policeman. During the next 10 years their three children, Michael, Barbara and Peggy, were born. The family moved to Tucson, AZ. in July 1962 and the next 29 years John was the Executive Director of the Better Business Bureau. He was active in the Tucson Advertising Club, Tucson Press Club and that club's Gridiron Shows. He died 01/13/2022 in Tucson. At his request, no funeral or memorial service will be held. His cremains will be scattered at the Catalina Methodist Church Memorial Garden where the cremains of his beloved wife of 49 years were placed in November 2000 and a private family gathering will be held.
