Obituary of Kenneth Roger Zents

Kenneth Roger Zents born May 2nd 1938 passed away May 6th 2021 in Sahuarita AZ. To his longtime friends they called him “Toad” and to his family Roger or Ken. Born in Pueblo Colorado he joined the Army after high school and returned to Colorado to attend Bolder University where he met many of his life-long friends.

Working for IBM for over 30 years he finished his career in Tucson where he lived with his wife Sylvia Zents of 39 years, whom he loved and adored for everyone of them. He will be buried with Sylvia at All Faiths Cemetery who passed May 16th of 2020.

He is survived by his stepson Kevin Berg who loved and admired him for the man he was and role model. Also survived by his daughter-in-law Deborah and granddaughters Sadie and Reagan.

Ken loved long conversations with his brother Jeff Zents of Texas and his sister Claudine who precedes him in death. The many family and friends in Colorado will deeply miss Roger.

If you were lucky to know Ken he was a quiet gentle sole who loved reading, constantly seeking knowledge of the world and spending time with his family and close friends.
