Obituary of Myron Asbra Pecora

Myron Asbra Pecora, 67, peacefully passed away at home on May 8, 2021, after a short illness. Myron was the son of Angelo Pecora and Doris Mae Cannaday Pecora, both of whom preceded him in death. Myron's brother, Raymond Earl Pecora, also preceded him in death on December 22, 2020.

 

Myron was a graduate of Montgomery High School in Montgomery, West Virginia. After a stint at West Point, he attended Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in English.

 

Myron was an expert in the field of information technology, specifically within criminal justice. He worked globally on projects that improved criminal justice systems.

 

Myron is survived by his wife of 15 years, Rosemary McCool, his sister Carol Pecora (Grant) Hollandsworth of Tucson AZ, and his three adult children: Angela Pecora of Shepherdstown, WV, Tony Pecora of San Diego, CA, and Matthew Pecora of Beaverton, OR.

 

A celebration of Myron's life will be held at the Adair Funeral Home at 8090 N Northern Ave, Tucson 85704 on Friday May 14th, 2021 from 10 a.m. to noon. Casual attire is encouraged. Myron was an avid Cleveland Browns fan so wear your favorite sports team’s shirt or other attire. The service will be followed immediately by a luncheon in Myron’s honor at nearby Bottega Michelangelo's at 420 W Magee Rd in Tucson.

 

Myron's final wish was to return to where he was born, West Virginia. He will be interred at the Elmwood Cemetery in Shepherdstown.   Visitation will be held from 10:00-12:00 noon at Brown's Funeral home in Martinsburg, WV, on May 24, 2021, with graveside service to follow at 12:30 PM. There will be luncheon in Myron’s honor at the Bavarian Inn immediately following the graveside service.
