Obituary of Elizabeth Lorraine Martin

Elizabeth (Betty) Hess Billick Martin Born Washington County, PA October 18, 1918. Died March 30, 2020 Tucson AZ. Betty was married to the late Earl H. Billick -Elizabeth, PA, and to the late Lorne I. Martin - Tucson AZ. Betty was preceded in death by brother Charles Pete Hess, Tennessee, a son Earl Billick Jr., Washington, and a granddaughter Leisha Fleming (Daniel) of Atlanta, GA. She is survived by a sister Georgann Muniz (Bill) of Tucson AZ, a daughter Barbara McClintock Condrey of Atlanta, GA, sons Robert Billick of Elizabeth PA, and Thomas Billick (Sage, Betty Jo) of Carlsbad CA. She is also survived by 11 Grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild. Other close family members include stepchildren Bob & Frieda Martin and Paul & Rebecca Martin of Tucson, John & Peggy Cheney of Gilbert, AZ and Jane O'Mara of Cottonwood, AZ and their families. Betty and Earl Billick moved from Pennsylvania to Tucson in the early 1960s. Today, there are still friends and family in the Pittsburgh area as well as those met pursuing her favorite hobby traveling all over the US, Canada, and Europe. Betty kept in touch with old friends and made new ones everywhere. Having been active members of the First Presbyterian Church in Elizabeth Pa, they joined Catalina United Methodist Church in Tucson where she continued membership throughout her life. Betty befriended all who came her way. She was a Welcome Newcomers Hostess after moving to Tucson and then an Amway distributor for over 30 years, after which she joined Isagenix as a distributor. In addition to travel, she also loved playing golf whenever able, and was a volunteer fund raiser for Lighthouse YMCA. Some members of the family can be contacted at her home. A Memorial Service will be held in Tucson at a date to be announced.
