Obituary of Moses Arispe Leon

Moses "Moe" Arispe Leon, 77, of Tucson, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2014. Moe was born May 31, 1936, in New York City. He graduated from San Jose City College with an A.A. Degree, and his Bachelor's Degree in Arts and Master Degree in Criminal Justice from San Jose State University, he also studied at Bethany College I, and University of Santa Clara in California. Moe taught Justice Studies at Pima College for 20 Years. He retired from PCC in 1999, having taught hundreds of students who chose law enforcement and related occupations as their career. Moe also served 27 years with the Arizona Department of Public Safety as a volunteer "Weekend Warrior.". Preceded in death by his wife, Alice, and son, Aljandro (Hondo) and is survived by his brother, John (Suzanne) Leon, and sister, Lydia (Richard) Daino, six nieces and nephews, and a very dear friend, companion and caregiver, Carmine. A Graveside Inurnment Service will be Thursday, February 6, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery, 3015 N. Oracle Rd. Arrangements entrusted to ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel (520) 742-7901.
