Obituary of Margaret Rose Gibes )

Margaret Rose (Barra) Gibes passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 15, 2014. Born April 20, 1931, in Peoria, Illinois, she graduated from Manual High School and received her RN Degree from St. Mary's in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She married Albert on November 14, 1953, and moved to Pekin, Illinois, where they raised their family until 1969, when they moved to Tucson. She was preceded in death by her youngest son, Stephen Terry Gibes, and son-in-law, William Stott, and is survived by her husband of 60 years, Albert Paul Gibes; her children: Lynne Marie Stott, Karen Sue McEwen (William), Kenneth John Gibes (Aurora), William Paul Gibes (Carmen), Lori Anne Conner (Rick); daughter-in-law, Veronica Gibes; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was very loved and will be missed by all. Visitation will be held at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel, 8090 N. Northern Ave., Friday, January 17, 2014, from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., with Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 8650 N. Shannon Rd., on Saturday, January 18, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel.
