Obituary of Paul Squirlock

SQUIRLOCK, Paul, passed away December 6, 2013. Born in Olyphant, PA. Preceded in death by parents, Peter and Mary (Regula) Squirlock, and an infant son, Paul. Survived by his wife, Elizabeth, of 68 years; son, Stephen (Kathy) Squirlock, Noblesville, IN; daughter, Karen (Richard) Martinez, Tucson, AZ; two sisters, Helen Saslo of Olyphant, PA, and Susan Williams of Peckville, PA; five grandchildren, three step- grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews. Served in peacetime and in WWII invasion of North Africa and Italy with The United States Army. He was a Purple Heart recipient. Paul was a member of St. Odilia Catholic Church, Tucson, AZ, American Legion Raymond Henry post # 327 in Olyphant, PA, and a lifetime member of DAV Cactus Chapter #2, Tucson, AZ. Visitation will be Thursday, December 12, 2013, at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel, 8090 N. Northern Ave. at Magee, from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m., with a Rosary at 3:00 p.m. Burial will be Friday, December 13, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. at National Memorial Cemetery in Cave Creek, AZ.
