Diane Moreno

Obituary of Diane Moreno

Diane Moreno. My Sleeping Beauty did not wake up on Tuesday morning. A lot of hearts were saddened on November 5, 2013, when Diane was granted her angel wings. She was a loving wife to Fred (Papa), a devoted mother to Stefanie and Tessa, a wonderful mother-in-law to Adam Paris, an amazing Nana to her grandson, Landon Paris, and a sister to Stephen and Thomas Clegg. I've asked my brothers and sisters to express their feelings on Di. Jim: Unconditional love is who my sister Diane was. She personified the teachings of Jesus Christ in her daily life with everyone. She was a complete angel to my mother and a second mother to my daughters, but most notably a wild animal trainer to my brother Freddy. Ev: Diane was a loving wife, mom, sister, aunt, nana, and friend. She was so loving and giving to our entire family with a kindness that extends far beyond. She created thousands of beautiful gifts, each one made with love you can feel! I loved your wonderful sense of humor. Please let your sense of humor ring in my mind often! I know you are with us. I thank you and love you. George: Diane was the most thoughtful, loving person I know. She will be missed. God has a new angel. I will always feel your love. Thank you. Love you; Bernie. Diane you had and always will have an impact on our lives. Your kindness and love is your legacy, and it will always remain with us. Your laughter showed us your beautiful spirit, which touched so many hearts. I'm so thankful that you were a part of our family and I could call you my sis. Love you. Diane made Tucson her home after moving from New Jersey when she was 19 years old. Her life revolved around her family; and when she wasn't spending time with family or pets, you could often find her crocheting, reading, or cheering for the U of A. She battled illness for years, but it did not break her spirit. She was bright, lively, and happy. She was able to spread her joy to others simply by being around them. Through her generosity and continued efforts to put others first, Diane's last wish was granted, helping others through research and development as an organ and tissue donor. Mama, you were my everything and I thank you for sharing 35 years of your life with me. Love you forever and ever - Papa.
