Obituary for Lee Bertha Pennington

Lee Bertha  Pennington
Lee Bertha Pennington was born November 1, 1917, to late John and Elenora Harden in Gurdon, Arkansas. She was one of seven children. She met and married the late William Pennington Sr. who preceded her in death in 1984. To that union was born ten children. The family moved to Arizona in 1948. She leaves to cherish her memory two sons , William Jr and Dorothy Pennington and Henry and Victoria Pennington; and three daughters Alma and Herman Gipson, Mattie Govan and Stella Mitchell; brother Berry Crosby, sister Ida Mcintyre, 22 Grand Children, 38 Great Grand Children and 22 GG Grand Children. She was preceded in death by her husband William Pennington Sr., three sons Claven, John and Wallace; two daughters Eloise and Amanda. We will forever miss our Mother, Grandmother, Mentor and Best Friend; but we know that she is in a better place with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

A private funeral service will be held. Memorial donations in Lee's memory may be made to the at Apostolic Morning Light Church 2031 S Tyndall Avenue.
